Highfield is a 286 acre working farm, fabulously situated adjacent to Hadrian's Wall and overlooking the Solway Firth and Scottish coastline of Dumfries & Galloway, yet just 15 minutes drive from the Historic City of Carlisle. The Burgh Marsh bordering the Solway is a paradise for ornithologists.

Owners Martin and Julie Gaitskell offer ETB graded 4 diamond farmhouse bed & breakfast in ensuite rooms comfortably furnished to high standards. Twin or double rooms are available.

Guests at Highfield Farm can look forward to a traditional Cumbrian farmhouse breakfast using the best local produce and at the end of a lovely day, the private guest lounge offers the opportunity to relax in very pleasant surroundings.

The farm has a campsite overlooking the sea and there are storage facilities for bicycles.

Visitors to Highfield Farm are assured of a warm and very genuine Cumbrian welcome from the resident owners Martin and Julie Gaitskell. Highfield is a lovely Cumbrian Farmhouse and provides a first class welcome to walkers, cyclists and other visitors.

Facilities are always being developed and improved and Highfield offers a fabulous experience of genuine Cumbrian farm life, with the best of traditional comforts meeting the highest of expectations.
